CHD brings to Karnal “Daana Paani” – Karnal’s first ever Food Court

The residents of Karnal are all set to get their taste buds titillated as CHD Developers Ltd. celebrated the Bhoomi Pujan of Karnal’s first ever Food Court aptly named ‘Daana Paani’ at their integrated township, CHD City, on 5^th September 2012.

The food court spread over an area of 2.26 acres built over 50,000 sq ft on two levels, will house some well-known food brands, the most prominent one being Haldiram’s, which is a first for Karnal. Haldiram’s will cover about 7000 sq ft of the food court. ‘Daana Paani’ will offer the quintessential aura and flavors of street foods and ethnic favorites.

Since Daana Paani is on the NH-1, one can take a break here, dine & relax and then drive back. The layout and architecture is very contemporary as compared to the mundane food courts and is in sync with the global trends. It will be a one-stop food destination for consumers and will provide a beautiful ambience to enjoy the delicacies. The centrally air-conditioned food court also offers ample parking facilities on the ground floor.

A part of CHD City, the food court will be made with an investment of Rs. 25 crores. CHD City has already transformed the face of Karnal by being the first integrated township of its kind in the area. This Food court will add to the wholesome experience provided by CHD to its residents.

Talking about the various features of the food court Mr. Ravi Saund, COO, CHD Developers Ltd. added saying, “Keeping the North Indian clientele in mind, we have decided to get a leading north Indian cuisine chain, a Chinese & Thai specialist, a trendy bistro/cafe, a baker, an Italian outlet, a kid’s favorite fast-food joint etc.  We are in talks with various F& B brands open to the idea of being a part of Karnal’s first food court. The food court will also enthrall the visitors with tranquil water bodies, exotic flora and fauna, kid’s zone apart from other world class amenities.”

 The entire design of ‘Daana Paani’ is handicap friendly.  The restrooms will be well equipped with world class amenities and the ladies restroom will have a convenient baby diaper-changing facility and feeding area.
