Weight is a feature of towels unknown to many people. Measured in grams per square meter (g / m²), the characteristic basically indicates the number of grams of cotton fiber per square meter in the material used.

The greater the towel's weight, the heavier and thicker the towel will be, and the softer and smoother the piece will feel.

Heavy towels are often more expensive but can also last for many years with proper care. Those with a lower weight will be less soft but will also be lighter and more compact, making them ideal for trips, outings, or the gym.
